Day of Hope: November 19th, 2016
The Bible says that we are the Lord’s hands and feet. We are the body of Christ, here on Earth, with the purpose of sharing and spreading His love. This November, there is a wonderful opportunity in our area to do just that.
Day of Hope is an event that has been happening in the Berea area now for 15 years. It is a day dedicated to loving and serving nearly 3,000 families in Madison and surrounding counties. Funded by the KY Men of Integrity, and supported by church and community members all throughout the county – it is truly a day where individuals of all different backgrounds come together for one cause. The event is a community outreach that provides low income families with the opportunity to get a FREE hot meal, FREE groceries for the holidays, FREE winter coats, FREE haircuts, FREE eye/hearing exams, FREE musical entertainment and FREE fun for kids! Yes, FREE. Everything that Day of Hope provides for community members is free. Just like God’s love for us!
If you want to become part of this amazing ministry and help spread God’s love in our community, please contact Jenna Jones and sign up on the table in our church foyer! It is a volunteer opportunity that is as fulfilling to you and those you are serving!
