Faith Decision’s Ministries
Sunday School / Bible Study
Sunday School is a great way for everyone to grow in the knowledge and love of God by learning, serving, praying and conversing together. FDMBC offers four Sunday morning adult Sunday School classes. Downstairs in the Fellowship Hall we have our Senior Adults Co-ed Group offering Lifeway Bible Studies for Life. Upstairs offers an Adult Coed Topics Class that provides dynamic discussion on a wide range of topics from a Christian perspective. Currently the group is studying the Book of Hebrews. FDMBC also offers a Women’s Sunday School Class, open to ladies of all ages. This group meets to support and encourage each other so that they can grow in Christ and support and encourage God’s people.
Our adult Bible studies meet at 9:45am each Sunday morning. This is a crucial equipping time in the life of our body, when we gather to study scripture, discuss doctrine and principles for Christian living. Topics change often with the goal of offering comprehensive biblical study over the course of an entire year.
Missions
Missions. Webster’s dictionary defines the word as: “an important goal or purpose that is accompanied by strong conviction; a calling or vocation”. Jesus Christ’s Great Commission commands the church to spread the Gospel to the entire world. This is a “call” to every believer. In order to accomplish that command or “call”, it takes people with a willing heart to give of themselves selflessly, as Christ did for us.
FDMBC has an active Missions program that is constantly looking for ways to meet the needs of God’s people and increase our ability to get the Gospel to every known people group. We serve as His hands and feet, reaching out to those in our church, community, state and our world!
Men’s Ministries (Brotherhood)
The men of the church meet monthly as part of the Brotherhood organization. We are committed to faithfully studying God’s Word and living out His Word in our lives. Brotherhood gatherings are a time of Bible study, fellowship and, of course, coffee and food! We feel our goal is teaching missions, engaging in mission actions, supporting world missions through praying and giving, promoting missions Church wide and working with and supporting mission efforts on the Associational level.
Brotherhood also assures maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and equipment.
We recommend replacement of worn out equipment and maintain safe conditions of the Church building and parking facilities.
Women’s Ministries (Women On Mission)
WMU (Women’s Missionary Union) Organization focuses on educating and involving women and girls in missions. This ministry encourages missional living by challenging, equipping, and empowering women to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. One of our consistent opportunities for service in our community is our Berea Healthcare Ministry where we meet every third Saturday to fellowship with nursing home residents while styling hair and doing nails. This wonderful ministry allows us to serve God’s people and develop lasting relationships with people who need it most.
Children’s Ministry
FDMBC has numerous opportunities available for children to be actively involved in learning about God’s word. Our Sunday Mornings offer Sunday School for all ages as well as Children’s Church during our AM Service. Wednesday evenings children can get involved with our Awana program. Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed from 2 Timothy 2:15. Our AWANA club is for boys and girls from 2 years old through Grade 5. It is a Bible- centered club built around Scripture memorization, Bible study, and games.

AWANA CLASSES
Puggles
Puggles recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings.
In Puggles, children are welcomed each week with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities. Leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more. Lessons teach and reinforce four basic biblical precepts:
• God Made Everything
• God Saw That It Was Good
• God is Love
• Give Thanks
Cubbies
Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their “Cubbies friends,” they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes.
Cubbies helps you lead your child to God early so she will respect and trust Him for life.
Sparks
Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends.
Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner® and SkyStormer™. Each year, Sparks clubbers:
• explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture
• memorize Bible verses
• complete handbook activities
T&T
T&T engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace.
Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.
T&T is different from other Awana programs. It is comprised of two clubs with distinct curriculum, uniforms and awards:
•T&T Ultimate Adventure™ for third and fourth grades
•T&T Ultimate Challenge™ for fifth and sixth grades
Youth Group
FDMBC Youth Ministry exists to help students become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Middle School and High School aged students meet together in an atmosphere designed to be friendly, fun, and challenging. This program helps to break down “church is boring” stereotypes and fills learning God’s word with laughter, drama, videos, activities, and a message that moves students toward spiritual maturity.
Worship
Psalm 95:1 says “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” That is exactly what our worship is all about at FDMBC. Christian worship is our heartfelt and mindful response to God, in both word and deed. When we worship by singing, you will notice that we employ both traditional hymns and praise and worship songs. We also have a choir that often helps minister to us in song and congregational worship.
